If you thought the Mini was too small, you’d better not even look at the microcars and superminis manufactured by Smart GmbH in Böblingen, Germany. The main concept of the Smart car was to develop a vehicle that small enough to facilitate “nose in” parking. In other words, a car so short that it could head in to a tiny parking gap without its rear end hanging into the street. Its length of only 250cm allows it to do just that. Several variations of the Smart car have been produced, including Smart Fortwo Cabriolet, the Smart Car custom LCB, and the Smart Crossblade.
