In business since 1925, Chrysler has been a popular American alternative to Ford and Chevrolet automobiles over the years. Several popular vehicles have been produced under the Chrysler moniker, including the Chrysler Sebring and the Chrysler 300, which bears a vague resemblance to the Bentley Continental GT (at a fraction of the price). In 1998, Chrysler was purchased by Daimler-Benz, creating DaimlerChrysler AG. The Chrysler Corporation was then officially renamed DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC, however they still do business under the name “Chrysler Group”. Another model that brought Chrysler significant success in recent times is the iconic looking PT Cruiser.
